JARO BIJAK
CEO, Advanced Specialty Lighting
Mr. Bijak emigrated from Poland in 1980, becoming a U.S. citizen in 1995. He has over 25 years of manufacturing and engineering experience in the xenon lamp industry, starting with Amglo in 1980. His background is in mechanical engineering.
Jaro founded Advanced Strobe Products, Inc., in 1990, together with Katherine Beres. The acquisition of ASL has allowed him to broaden the company’s product line while staying in the same basic technology.

KATHERINE BERES
Vice President, Advanced Specialty Lighting
Ms. Beres was recruited out of Roosevelt University in 1982 to become Sales and Office Manager of Kemlite Laboratories. She held various positions before becoming a Division Manager in 1987. When the merger with Amglo took place in 1988 Katherine became the Q.C. manager of the combined companies.

STEFANIE FARNSWORTH
Vice President of Sales and Marketing
Ms. Farnsworth has fourteen years of successful international and domestic experience in sales and marketing. She was the North and Central America sales manager for ORC from 1992 through 1996, in the cinema xenon division. While having that responsibility she quadrupled the division’s sales.
Stefanie lived abroad for five years directing media/advertising projects in Europe, Southeast Asia, Central Asia, Eastern Europe and Africa to promote foreign investment in emerging countries. She has also been a business owner while publishing a book on the military transition to democracy of the fourth republic of Nigeria.
Stefanie has spent the last thirty months establishing ASL’s presence in the cinema xenon market.
